Alpine Bikes Winter Innerduro Series Winners

Congratulations to the Innerduro Series Winners !  The top 3s are below.  We are hoping to hold podiums on 20 April at the Jayfest Pub Quiz Fundraiser while the SDA is in town, more details when that is confirmed.

Big thanks to everyone for coming along, to Alpine Bikes for their support and to all the helpers, marshals and officials etc who make the races possible.  And another big thanks to all of those who donated their entry fee from the cancelled Rd 3 to the Tweed Valley Mountain Rescue Team, so far £325 has been raised, well done all !

Innerduro Round 3 - CANCELLED

All the entrants received an email last week, but for all our other fans we are sorry to say that Innerduro Rd 3 has been cancelled. The site was double-booked for 13/14 April (so you can always get on the uplift !) and we just couldn't find a soon enough date that was free. Busy times in the Tweed Valley ! So the Series standings become the Series results, we will arrange some kind of presentation soon - I'm thinking we highjack a few minutes of the Jayfest Pub Quiz on the 20th ? Will post back up when that is a properly formed thought.... Helen.

Alpine Bikes Innerduro Rd 3 - UPDATE

It's a bit snowy around here !  At the moment the race on 30-31 March is going ahead as planned, however we are finalising some contingency plans, ranging from postponing the race to another date to using shorter courses, depending on the snow line on the hill.  The weather is due to improve during the week, but we must be able to access the course with Medic vehicles and be able to look after the marshals, to go ahead.  We will make a decision at 1700 on Thursday and advise on here and the Facebook page.  In the meantime, we would like to get thoughts from riders entered in the race on your preferred options ? Post your view on the Facebook page - there's a link over there ->>> Given that we can't move the hill to Jamaica for the weekend.  Or heat the course with giant outdoor braziers.  We sent Crawford up to have a look today, and as you can see from this picture, he got on just fine....
