We have had a couple of queries, so just to clarify:
Saturday Alpine Bikes in Innerleithen
1200-1500 - Sign on and collect number board, day entries
You can collect you number board, but you will also need to collect your timing dibber on sunday before you head up the hill
Sunday FCS car park on Traquair Road
0800-1030 - Sign on and collect number board
0915 - Rider briefing, not mandatory but useful if you are new to this
0930 - 1130 - Collect timing dibber and head up the hill

There will be food available on site at all events. Please note that there is no drinking water in the car park.

Cancellation policy – adverse conditions
Dealing with adverse weather is part of the challenge of this series, however if the safety of riders and staff becomes an issue we may have to cancel an event. This will be announced on our website at 17.00 on the Thursday before the event, and riders will receive a refund minus an admin fee.
If a race is cancelled due to adverse or dangerous conditions any time after 17.00 on the Thursday before the event we will refund a percentage of the entry fee taking in account any outlaid costs
Race 1 – 28th and 29th January
Saturday practice, Sunday race
Entry fee - £30 pre-entry, £35 day entry (if available)
The Enduro race will consist of a number of timed stages around the hill, riders will make their own way between the stages. You will have a maximum of 4 hours to complete all stages and the course will close at 15.30, riders finishing after that time won't be placed.
Riders will leave from the start in 30 second intervals, and may start any time between 08.30 and 11.30.
It will be the riders responsibility to look after their timing tag during the event getting it checked-in at each stage start and finish where a marshal will be present.
At the end of the race hand your dibber to the timing tent to get your times for the day.

Sunday
08.00–10.30 – sign-on and registration
08:45 marshal briefing
09:15 rider briefing - not mandatory but useful if you are new to this

* Protectors for elbows and knees
* Full face helmet
* Full body cover and waterproof jacket if conditions cold

Failure to comply with gear regulations will result in disqualification.
Race 2 – 18th February
Saturday practice and race
Entry fee - £30 pre-entry, £35 day entry (if available)
The Enduro race will consist of a number of timed stages on the hill, riders will make their own way between the stages. You will have a maximum of 6 hours to complete the stages, starting at 13:00 and returning by 19:00. Riders will leave from the start in 30 second intervals. It will be your responsibility to look after your timing tag (“dibber”) during the event getting it checked-in at each stage start and finish where a marshal will be present.
There are two stages, these will be raced during the day, then repeated after the sun goes down. The second run will commence at 16:00. Lights are recommended, and riders must take the safety precautions detailed below.
At the end of the race hand your dibber to the timing tent to get your times for the day. Please make sure you check in at the timing/registration tent if you decide not to complete the race. We also ask that you bring a mobile phone, keep it switched on during the event and provide the number at registration.

This will be a full noise Downhill race in the traditional style, with uplift for practice and racing. Registration, course walk and practice on Saturday, short practice session and racing on Sunday.
With local knowledge and all winter to work his creative genius, you can expect another fantastic track from Steve Deas and his crack team at i-Cycles of Innerleithen...
